My approach to couple’s therapy is based on Dr. Stan Tatkin’s model, the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT). This approach is designed to expand empathy and build our capacities to interact within our relationships. In the therapy room, I strive to create an active, honest and safe environment for couples to explore their individual and shared experiences. Beyond just sharing, we work to engage in the creation of new interactions, experiences and memories.
Above all, I believe in the power of secure-functioning partnerships. When we belong to relationships based in respect, collaboration and shared power, we have improved overall health and well-being. I also believe that any two individuals that want to create such a relationship, regardless of background/experience/deficits, can do so. It is my honor to guide that co-creation between partners.
